Loneliness

Loneliness gives birth to future joys
Or at least that's what I've been told
But I long for the tender touch of someone
I'm so tired of being so cold.

Loneliness can be a state of mind
But I'm not so sure I agree
'Cause loneliness is starting to take its toll
Understand, inside, I feel so empty.

I want someone to tender my heart
Someone who will care about me
And take me out of this dark lonely place
Into the light and just love me.
